Leaning on the garden fence,
I hear the windmill grind.
Wondering if this will be,
The day I'll lose my mind.

I began writing poems in third grade. During adolescence I wrote the bulk of my words. Expressing that urge to be understood or maybe trying to understand my own feelings. I haven't written much in the past 15 years, but I need to thank my HS English teacher for continuing as long as I did. Thanks Mr. Jim Springer!
